Listen ...

Can anyone else hear sleigh-bells?

Nope, just me. time to up the meds ;-)

To my loved-ones, liked-ones, and anyone else I know:
May you know real joy and peace as we celebrate the life of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Wherever you are, take some time to think about this Man.
If you're not one of his followers, I pray that this coming year brings a shift in perspective and a glimpse of what "we" see in Him :-)

Love ya all!

Just Chill, Jacs ;-)

God is awesome!
Let me tell you what he just did for us ...
On Thursday night the power went out, probably due to rain water getting into the outdoor fixtures. We can isolate the outside stuff like the gate and the alarm, so the power in the house was back on, and we didn't give it another thought.
Only on our way out at 12:30 today (Saturday) did we realise that the garage power has been off. That means the chest freezer, full of chickens and veggies and the Christmas roast and ice-cream, was off for a LONG time!

It's been hot, so we thought for sure that everything would be at least partly defrosted. So we hurried back from shopping to face our fear.

Well, there must have been a freezer Angel blowing cold air on it all the time, because everything, barring the ice-cream, was still solid! Not even a hint of defrosting going on.

I can't explain that - we've had freezers turn off before and stuff warms up pretty quickly. I'm sure someone will explain how the frozen chickens managed to keep their neighbours cool because the freezer was sealed and undisturbed, but even so I believe it was a little miracle!

Thank you Lord!

Just playing ... :-)

I haven't blogged in ages and I've probably forgotten how. But there's a reason for this post ...
I've just set up a Twitterfeed account so that I can post my blogs directly to Twitter and Facebook automatically. Woo-woo!! That should save some time!
Um, maybe :-)
Might also have me spending more time online writing nonsense.

Well, lets just see if this works, first. Then I can start prodding people with my opinions.

Oh, yes - happy bathday to Debbie in the US of A.
It's amazing how old people have just taken to the internet, as though they were only born 41 years ago. Mah-velous!!
